Ecstatic Dance & Authentic Connection
Yana Freedom Dance is a therapeutic, creative movement practice blending Ecstatic Dance, 5Rhythms, Authentic Movement, and conscious connection work. It supports emotional release, nervous-system regulation, embodied self-awareness, and a lived sense of freedom — through movement, music, and presence.
You are invited to express your authentic self, listen to your body, and relate to others with clarity and trust. By moving solo, with others, and sometimes in guided partner or group exercises, you practice responding to life from presence rather than habit — cultivating resilience, aliveness, and connection.
It’s fun. It’s playful. Sometimes it’s serious play.
The Science
Research shows that conscious movement and dance:
-
reduce stress and cortisol
-
increase endorphins and mood regulation
-
enhance neuroplasticity and emotional flexibility
-
strengthen the nervous system
-
increase oxytocin and social bonding
Dance is not just expression — it’s regulation, integration, and healing.
